R.L. Willis is a music producer & stereo mixing engineer, who is also one of the first officially-certified Dolby Atmos music mixing engineers by Dolby.
He studied stereo and immersive production, recording, and mixing at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA under their Music Production & Engineering and Electronic Production & Design programs.
R.L. was also a recording engineer at Virginia Beach Recording Arts, formerly artist and producer Timbaland’s Thomas Crown Studios.
Entering the Spatial Audio scene merely a year ago, R.L.’s credits have amassed 990M+ streams & 4.8B+ views. His Dolby Atmos mixes have managed to help records land on multiple Apple Music and Tidal editorial playlists, including “New Music Daily,” “Electronic in Spatial Audio,” “New in Indie,” and “Today’s Chill” amongst others.
He currently mixes out of Whiskey Lane Studios, a certified Dolby Atmos music studio located in Boston, MA.
